Weekend Challenge of judgement, decisions & execution.

A 78-year-old banker who was my follow-up patient for 17 years for high blood pressure & high cholesterol came with throat discomfort on mild exertion.

Being classic unstable angina, we proceeded with a coronary angiogram.

It showed a large, eccentric plaque at the origin of a large dominant right coronary artery causing very tight stenosis with a hair-thin lumen adjoining the lower wall as seen in the following pictures.

All reactions:

The patient was discharged this morning. He could resume all his normal activities in a few days.

It was very satisfying & a real pleasure for all.
